ABOUT TERMINAL
Joint Venture between Petron Fuel Marketing 50% and British Petroleum 50%. JV effective on 1 October 2005. Now it is converted Boustead Petroleum Marketing or BPM. Start Plant commission on November 1997.Terminal operates 6 day / week. The operation start at 0630 hours until 2230 hours. Two cycle shift 0630 hours until 1430 hours and 1430 hours until 2230 hours.
LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) PRODUCT
LPG Composition is Butane and Propane contains liquid and vapor.It is seven times higher than atmospheric pressure (75 PSI).It is twice as dense as air and half of water density.Liquid LPG can expand up to 250 times. Two risk is Health hazard from Cold burnt and asphyxiant. Then Safety hazard from Highly inflammable. Lastly is Precautions,all staff in terminal Always wear leather gloves.Do not inhale high concentration of LPG and can follow all rules and regulations.
